WHAT IS COVERED BY YOUR AUTO INSURANCE POLICY? Up to six coverage’s may be included on your auto insurance policy, though some are required by law, you may find the optional ones beneficial. BODILY INJURY LIABILITY: Basically, the injuries that you (as the Policy Holder) cause to another party. If you are involved in a serious collision where a large settlement could be a factor, increasing the state-required minimum of insurance should be a consideration in order to protect your assets. COLLISION: In
the event that your vehicle is damaged through a collision, you (the
Policy Holder) will be reimbursed for the costs of repairing your
vehicle, less the deductible. COMPREHENSIVE:
For damages to your vehicle not caused by a collision. You (as the Policy Holder) will be reimbursed for damages
caused by theft, vandalism, earthquakes, hail storms, even riot and
civil commotion. Neither the COMPREHENSIVE nor COLLISION insurances
are required by law in every State, however, if you have a car loan, the
Lender may insist that those coverage’s are part of your auto
insurance policy until your loan is finalized. MEDICAL PAYMENTS OR PERSONAL INJURY PROTECTION:
This coverage is for the treatment of injuries sustained by you
(the Policy Holder) and your passengers.
Dependant on the type of auto insurance policy you have set-up,
medical expenses, loss of income, accidental death, and funeral costs,
may be covered. PROPERTY DAMAGE LIABILITY:
In the event that you (the Policy Holder) cause damage to the
property of another party. E-Mail Us At: cs@WindsorInsuranceServices.com
